you don't like apple anymore? :D
Cool design is that!
It looks far more like rock-hewn as the all familiar Peter Jackson design (which I liked too, not to get me wrong)
And what I do also like (except for the great cameraposition and the overall treatment in terms of colours and lights) is that little figure to the left that seems to leave the building
(At least I am seeing one :D )

 I love the Apple product, I just hate the requirement and confinement of iTunes. :D

That's freaky, the figure was not intentional but when you mentioned it I had to look again at the image and saw it right away. It looks exactly like a robed hooded figure walking down the stairs. I love it when stuff like that happens :D

I always like to do research on any subject I'm about to render, I was reading on this tower and how Tolkien describes it. From what I was able to gather it was carved out of one single piece of some kind of rock. So I tried my best to make it look like that and based it on the model they used in the movie. It actually goes all the way up, and was such a time consuming project that I'll have to use the model again sometime so i can show the whole thing.

and I thought they had reduced the restrictions in their iTune store!?
though I have no idea, I neither have an i-thing nor do I have tunes installed.

However...
I wasn't sure whether this figure should have been intentionally a figure and I thought about whether to mention that "I am seeing leaving people" (booh)
or better not :D
But I can definitely say that I would damn looking forward to see more of that tower!
:)

Yes I also don't own anything with the all seeing 'i' on it. I learned from my son's mistake of the purchase of an iPod, a decision he wishes he could re-do. Ahhh well, live and learn.

Anytime you see something like that in one of my images, go ahead and mention it, I like to see if a can spot the same thing. :D

well,....next time he can buy another player?
Or are there some evil details in the fine-prints once you got yourself in the claws of Apple that forbid the purchase of any other brand until ...hell freezes over? :D
however, be assured that I will mention all people who I will see in your future work! :)
And more! :D

D'oh! He better read the fine print on his iPod and make sure he hasn't sold his soul  Yes he's already got his eye on an Android player as soon as he can find someone to buy his iPod. :mwahaha:

I thought this applied more to Google than to Apple?

Well not so much in my experience. I think Apple makes a great product, but to tether everything they make to the all powerful iTunes is just annoying. My son has an iTouch and I have the Samsung android galaxy. I can plug mine into any computer and make changes (it shows up just like a thumb drive), he is limited to one computer with his iTunes on it, and then it wants to auto sync everything when he only wants to change a few songs (that may be preventable though I'm not sure). Personally I can't stand when things want to auto sync, some people like it but I prefer a much easier approach of simply dragging and dropping what I want to add. And even if you use a hack program for adding and deleting songs to the iPod, you still have to have iTunes installed or the computer simply won't recognize the device
